Cofounder and Director of Heuser. Director of the MCAT program by the name of DHMCAT (Dr. Hussham’s Medical College Admission Test). Director of the ECAT program by the name of NUGICAT (NUST-GIKI College Admission Test). Dr Hussham Arshad is the CEO and Founder of HEUSER, and Director of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) program by the name of DHMCAT. He currently teaches A Level Biology and Chemistry at Cedar College in Karachi, and is also a Director of Cedar Pvt. Ltd. He has been certified by the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) as an MD, having cleared the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs). Dr Hussham completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the Aga Khan University in Pakistan. During his undergraduate study period, he was awarded the meritorious Dean Scholarship, Begum Shafeeq Zia ul Haq Scholarship, and Shaukat Haroon Scholarship at AKU, for being amongst the top 15% in his class. Following his graduation, Dr Hussham worked as a Research Associate at the Interactive Research & Development (IRD) group. In his position, he was given the opportunity to engage in multiple-cohort and cross-sectional projects, in collaboration with the Harvard School of Public Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, John Hopkins – Bloomberg School of Public Health, and UT Houston School of Public Health. With a particular interest in Cardiovascular Research, he supports the integration of research into academics at a high school level, as he believes this to be an important factor towards the development of professionals in every discipline. When given time off, Dr Hussham enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.

Muhammad Sohaib Munir completed his Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from the Institute of Business Management in Pakistan. He has also done a Bachelor of Busines Administration Honors program from the American University of Sharjah.

Muhammad Sohaib Munir has credible experience in the field of Business Management. He has a diverse portfolio in the field of automobile, construction and education. Since 2017 he has been a Director and Business Manager at Cedar College, as well as a part-time A Level Business teacher at Cedar since 2019.

Khurram is currently a Partner at Khurram Jah and Co. Chartered Accountants, and a Director at Cedar College in Pakistan. He is also a director at Cedar College, a leading A-Level institution in Pakistan.
He is a Gold Medalist Chartered Accountant, having successfully completed all examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He has also received his Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. Having cleared all levels of CFA examinations from the CFA Institute, Mr Khurram is a Certified Financial Analyst. Previously, Mr Khurram has acquired diverse and in-depth professional work experience having worked at Unilever Pakistan Limited, Seadrill Management, and A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, a member firm of the PWC network. When given the opportunity, Mr Khurram considers it important to contribute to society by engaging in philanthropic activities. He also enjoys traveling, sports, movies, and books.

Zeeshan is a Director at Eden College in Karachi. He is not only an integral member of the Eden, but is the mind behind its founding. He also teaches A Level Mathematics at the college. Previously, he was a part of Cedar College’s A Level Mathematics Department.
Zeeshan has been an educator for over two decades now and has been associated with a number of O and A Level institutions. He believes that Mathematics is a global tool for everything and is therefore an essential part of education at every level. His conceptual approach to the subject encourages in-class discussions and rational thinking. He is passionate about engaging with people, which is what makes him his students’ favourite!

Roque currently teaches A Level Physics at Cedar College, where he is the Head of the Physics Department, as well as a Co-Founder and Director. He is also a Strategy Consultant at the EdTech Company, SABAQ.
He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Avionics at the National University of Science and Technology, under the Pakistan Armed Forces (PAF). Having graduated, he went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration.
Given his combined education background of engineering and business administration, Roque has managed engineering projects for PAF, and has served as a marketing manager for the Central Depository Company of Pakistan. For around two years, he was working as Co-Founder at The Avenues School.
Roque has an even wider range of experience in the field of education. Before joining Cedar College, he was an A Level Physics teacher at St. Patrick’s High School, Southshore College, Nixor College, as well as an O Level Physics teacher at the CAS School. Additionally, he has completed several training and development courses from Cambridge International, for O and A Levels, thereby expanding his exposure to the field.
When outside of the classroom, Roque enjoys spending time composing music and playing the guitar and trumpet. He is also a fan of playing basketball and badminton, and plays whenever given the opportunity to. Other than that, he enjoys reading books on philosophy, history and science, and traveling and dining with friends and family.

Having been teaching for over twenty years, Nawaid has credible experience as an educator. He is currently a director at the Alpha Group, which includes Alpha College and Schools. He is also a director at the Aster School.
Previously, Nawaid has been a faculty member teaching O and A Level Mathematics and Physics at several institutions, including Nixor College, The Lyceum School, Beaconhouse School System, and The City School. Currently, he is affiliated with Kashan’s Academy, where he teaches Physics. He has completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Master of Science in Mathematics from the Karachi University.

Arsalan currently teaches A Level Physics at the Karachi Grammar School, and at Cedar College, and Further Mathematics at Nixor
College.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan.
Having taught A Level Physics for over a decade at the Karachi Grammar School, Physics and Further Mathematics at Nixor College since 2011, and Physics at Cedar College since 2018, Arsalan has credible experience in the field of teaching. Over the years, not only have his students achieved quality grades, but some have also received distinctions in his subjects.
He has received the Cambridge Professional Development Qualification, “Exploring Leadership”, from Cambridge International, and actively participates in local and international conferences conducted by the CIE board.
When not in the classroom, Arsalan enjoys reading books, watching movies, and engaging in physical fitness. He also loves traveling whenever he gets the opportunity to.

Zarak is currently a Director of the Alpha Group, and also teaches A Level Economics at Alpha College. Being a director, he is among the group of individuals who envisioned Alpha, and initiated its education network.
Coming from a middle-class background, with lack of guidance during his education journey, Zarak understands the importance of mentoring and advising students. After completing his A Level education from Progressive High, Zarak started his career as a teacher, joining first the Ladybird Grammar School, and later the City School, where he was the youngest O Level faculty member. Two years later, he joined Nixor College as an A Level Economics teacher. His journey as an educationist is nothing short of inspirational!
When found with time off from his work, Zarak prioritizes spending time with his family.

Syed Sajjad has more than twenty-five years of experience in the field of education. He is currently the Dean of Bayview College, the Head of the Economics Department at the Karachi Grammar School, and a director and economics teacher at Eden College. He also heads the University of London International Program in Karachi. He has always been a keen promoter of research, educational innovation and regulation in the field.
Sajjad has completed his Master of Science in Business Economics from the University of Westminister, and his MSc in Public Finance from SOAD University of London. He is currently pursuing his Master of Philosophy degree from the University of London.
Outside of work, Sajjad enjoys mountain climbing and music.

Shehroz is among the board of Directors for the Alpha Group He teaches mathematics and accounting at Alpha College, as well as at Synergy, an Institute for O and A Levels. He has also been a part of Vision Academy.
Previously, Shehroz was a tutor at Kashan’s Academy. He has also been a faculty member at the Oasys School and The City School. Outside of work, his interests include music, travelling and fitness.

Salman is currently a Director of the Alpha Network, consisting of Alpha College and Schools. He also teaches A Level Economics at Alpha College, as well as at Kashan’s Academy. Having started his teaching career in 2003, he has been a part of several institutions including the City School, Beaconhouse School System, Southshore College, and the Avicenna School.
Salman has done he Master’s in Economics, minoring in Mathematics and Statistics, with a specialization in Advanced Macroeconomics, from the University of Karachi. Outside of works, he enjoys reading, writing, cricket and is also a car enthusiast.

Salman is an A Level Business Studies and Psychology teacher at Cedar College, and also manages his seafood business, Fresh on the Boat.
Salman has done his Master’s in Business Administration, with double majors in Marketing & Human Resources, from the Institute of Business Management in Karachi.
With credible experience in the field of business, Salman has worked on several business projects, apart from currently managing his own business and being engaged in private international investments. In 2005, he played a part in publishing a Strategic Revamp proposal for Mehran Bottlers Pakola, and later, in developing the Vision and Mission of the Aga Khan University and Hospital. Additionally, he has been a research analyst at Renaissance Investments, overlooking their US automobile, technology and mining sectors.
Salman has been certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). He has trained for several Diving course such as Wreck Diving and Deep Sea Nitrox Diving. Apart from diving, he enjoys surfing, skiing, and wake-boarding.

Omair is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Pvt Ltd, comprising Cedar College and Cedar School. He is also a Director, Founding member and Accounting teacher at Cedar College, a Founder, Board Member, and Partner at the Ivy School, and Co-founder and Director at The Avenues School.
Omair graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2007, after completing his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Finance. He went on to clear all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst exams.
Having started his teaching career in 2007, Omair has taught at several A Level institutes, including Nixor College, The Lyceum School, and Southshore College. As a teacher he is dedicated to teaching students real-world skills, and the importance of learning to think outside of the box.
Before entering the academic arena, Omair worked at Ernst & Young as an Audit Trainee in Financial Services, and later at Islamic Capital Partners: a corporate advisory firm. He has profound experience in stocks and startup investments, and currently runs his own stock market portfolio. A few of his recent investment ventures include, shares in a chemical manufacturing unit, as well as in a recycling paper company, along with investments in the
Cosmopolitan and Angeethi restaurant businesses.
Omair is a football enthusiast, and enjoys both watching and playing the sport. To unwind, he also enjoys spending time in the company of friends.

Kashan is currently a director at the Alpha Group, inclusive of Alpha College and Schools. He teaches Mathematics and Accounting at Alpha. He is also the Director of Kashan’s Academy, where he teaches Mathematics, Accounting, and Physics.
Kashan completed his ACCA, before deciding to enter the teaching profession, and has been teaching for over twenty years now. With previous positions as a faculty member at several institutions, including Nixor College and The Lyceum School, he has vast experience as an educator.
Outside of teaching, Kashan has a keen interest in stocks, and actively participates in the stock market. He also enjoys travelling, and several sports, including swimming.

Hamza completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and Finance, and later his Master’s in Marketing, from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi.
When it comes to his profession as a teacher, Hamza believes in the ability of education to change a student’s life for the better. With over six years of teaching experience, he has developed a passion for learning and spreading this knowledge to his students. In his class itself, Hamza encourages a productive, yet easy-going environment that remains within the boundaries of respect. A strong student-teacher relationship, he feels, can help produce in students a better understanding of the subject, a stronger work ethic, and fruitful results.

Ali Qazi is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Cedar College in Karachi. In his position, he manages and develops the technology and academics of the institute. He also teaches A Level Accounting at Cedar, and was the first faculty member to have joined the college. He has been at Cedar for around 6 years now.
Ali has significant experience in teaching test preparation programs. He has taught the BCAT and SAT syllabus for almost 8 years. He completed his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). During his undergraduate period, Ali was also working as an instructor at Anees Hussain Pvt. Ltd., and as Co-Founder and Director at AIDA Education Management System. His experience in the field of education is therefore both credible and deep-rooted.
Outside of work, Ali’s hobbies include composing music. Not only does he produce music tracks himself, but even teaches a core music production course at Cedar College, that teaches students the theory behind music production. He is also a tech enthusiast, and is committed to introducing technology into the classroom.

After completing his ACCA, Omer entered the field of teaching to fuel his passion for teaching and learning. Since then he has taught at Nixor College and the Avicenna School. As a teacher, he is able to use his profound insight of Business and Economics, integrate technology in the classroom to build students’ concepts. He is currently a director at the Alpha Group, inclusive of Alpha College and Schools. He is also the CEO of A.S Education Advisory Service, and is affiliated with Kashan’s Academy, where he teaches Economics and Business Studies. Omer is also an intelligent entrepreneur, which makes him the best fit for the subject he teaches as his success stories have been motivational for his students. His hardwork, honesty, and light-hearted sense of humor makes him the likable person he is.

Hasnain is currently a course instructor for Physics at the Meritorious School Network, for O and A Levels, at Credo College for aptitude test preparation, and at Anees Hussain for O Levels.He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the NED University of Engineering and Technology in 2008.

Hasnain began teaching Physics in 2003, and proceeded to conduct aptitude test preparation from 2007. Since 2012, he has been teaching O and A Level Physics. Previously, he has been affiliated with the Minds Training Centre in Sharjah, and the Centre of Advanced Studies, for O Levels.
As a teacher, Hasnain has been committed to ensuring students’ success through comprehensive lectures and relevant learning material. His classes are known to be both productive and enjoyable, as a result of the comfortable academic environment he is able to create.
In his free time, Hasnain enjoys playing badminton and table tennis, as well as exploring new places.
