Dr. Saleheen is currently Associate Professor for Medicine and Cardiology, and Director for Global Genomics, at Columbia University. Additionally, since 2008, he has been Principal Investigator of the Pakistan Genomic Resource (PGR), at the Center for Non- Communicable Diseases in Pakistan, established by Dr. Saleheen himself. In 2018, the PGR’s Human Knockout Project, made it into the Top Ten Clinical Research Achievement Awards, presented by the Clinical Research Forum.
Previously, between 2012 and 2018, Dr. Saleheen has served as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Following this, he served as an Associate Professor at UPenn.
Outside of his career, Dr. Saleheen likes to spend his time reading about artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and comparative religion.
