Fayez Jawed

Fayez is a Clinical Research scientist with credible experience in clinical research, clinical trials, study management, and scientific writing. He has been certified as a Clinical Research Professional (CRP) by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA), and is currently the Clinical Project Manager at Sofregen Inc.

Previously, Fayez has held positions as Clinical Research Specialist at The Jackson Laboratory, and Clinical Research Associate II at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. For five years, he has worked at Interactive Research and Development (IRD), starting off as a Clinical Trials Assistant, and making his way up to the position of Associate Manager. During his time at IRD, he worked on multiple public health projects in disease areas including, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, and Clubfoot. He also helped set up a Clinical Research Unit, and led the start-up of the first two clinical trials at the Indus Hospital in Pakistan.

As a Clinical Research Specialist at the Jackson Laboratory, Fayez provided strategic and scientific clinical research input across clinical and transformational genomic science projects, supporting investigators in developing their studies, obtaining funding and managing or monitoring the studies. At Sofregen Inc. Fayez’s work involves utilizing his background in clinical research with organizational and project management skills to manage, coordinate, and implement large-scale clinical trials to obtain FDA approval for implantable medical devices.

To unwind from his work, Fayez enjoys playing cricket and football, hiking, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He also has a keen interest in global events, and enjoys reading books and keeping abreast of current affairs.
