Mian Muhammad Mansha
Mr Mian Muhammad Mansha is a prominent Pakistani business magnate and entrepreneur, and the chairman and CEO of the international Nishat Group. He started his career in Faisalabad, where his textile mill under the name of Nishat Mills is still one of the largest textile units in Pakistan. Presently, Nishat group is a leading and diversified South East Asian group.
Mr Mansha is currently on the board of various prominent institutes in Pakistan. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Atlantic Council. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz civil award by Pervez Musharraf, former president of Pakistan, in 2004. He was the first Pakistani to make it to the Forbes World’s Billionaires list.
Mr Mansha is also currently the Chairman of Human Resource & Remuneration Committee at MCB Bank Limited. Previously, he has been associated with Punjab Mineral Company (Pvt.) Limited, Civil Aviation Authority, Board of Investment, Punjab Board of Investment & Trade , Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (Pvt.) Limited, Commonwealth Business Council UK, Int’l Advisory Board, Babson College USA, National Management Foundation, Textile College Faisalabad and Government College of Faisalabad. He has also served as the Chairman for All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, and APTMA, Punjab.
Moreover, he is a committed philanthropist and provides regular support to numerous Pakistani charities and social causes.
