Salman Ali Thepdawala

Salman Ali is currently a student at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow, Russia, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Space and Engineering Systems.

Recently, he worked on an industrial project with the engineering company LoReTT, on ‘Neural Networks Approximation for Sub-Optimal Gains of a Nonlinear Satellite Attitude Controller’. His earlier research project was on ‘Coordinated Magnetic Attitude Control in a Swarm of CubeSats: Deep Neural Networks for Autonomous Operations’. Apart from these, Salman Ali has worked on several other research projects related to his field of aerospace technology.

Salman Ali enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including, playing cricket, soccer, volleyball, and field hockey, as well as swimming and hiking. While indoors, he makes time for table tennis and video games. Alongside these, are his interests in Machine and Deep Learning.
