Taha Ahmad
Since 2019, Taha has been the Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft. In his
position, he has increased product revenue, managed and expanded the engineering team,
charted the future of Project Operations – Microsoft’s next generation, unified project
management system, and much more.
Prior to his current position, Taha was the Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, developing
software that creates incredible business value for the company. His journey at Microsoft
started as a Software Development Engineer, working on the building of Microsoft Dynamics
AX. Later, was promoted to the position of Software Development Engineer II, building the next
generation of on-cloud business systems, codenamed Rainier, sold under the Microsoft
Dynamics brand.
Before joining Microsoft, Taha was a software engineer at Epic.
INTERESTS
Taha’s passion for computer software, makes that his primary area of interest. He researches
extensively on the governance, risk, compliance, and security technological issues, and how
these impact enterprise software design. He also has a keen interest in scalable design.
Outside of work however, Taha enjoys reading technical books regularly. He also loves watching
action and adventure movies.
