Zarnak is one of the most renowned chefs and chocolatiers in Pakistan. She is very passionate about cooking, baking, and teaching others to cook. She specialises in desserts and chocolates. She has done a course on chocolate-making in India, and taken several cooking courses in Thailand. One of her most recent projects focuses on the revival of traditional Parsi foods and recipes.
Currently, she is featured on the Hum Masala TV channel, in her show called Food Diaries.
She also manages the Food Diaries Facebook page, answering all sorts of questions related
to cooking. Her very first cooking show, entitled Chocoholics, was also on Hum Masala.
Zarnak has been instructed in the culinary art by prominent experts of the field. She began
by setting up her own home catering practice in 2005, within her Parsi community. Since
then she has advanced in the art, and is now recognised as a cooking expert.
Prior to her discovering her passion for the culinary industry, she has worked for a
pharmaceutical company, and a mutual funds company. A couple of Zarnak’s non food-related hobbies include, collecting first-day covers (FDC), and fridge magnets from all around the world. She would also love to publish her very own cook book one day.
We welcome Zarnak onto our Advisory Board, and hope that students interested in a career
in the culinary industry can get in touch with her in the future!
